There’s No Need to De-Horn Cows

This is a standard practice on dairies, but horns pose no problems when cows are treated well and have adequate space. In those circumstances, cows do not use their horns to hurt humans or other cows. Check out these pictures of cows at Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary getting along just fine with other cows, and with other types of animals.
