Studies show that dairy does not help you lose weight

A scientific review published in the May 2008 journal Nutrition Reviews reveals that two large studies show a link between dairy consumption and weight gain, though the majority of studies show no link betwween dairy and weight. The only studies suggesting that dairy contributes to weight loss were led by dairy industry-funded researchers.
